A good performance management system ensures employees' worth for the organization is communicated them at the right time. performance managements needs to be free from biases and needs to be a mechanism to encourage and motivate them to be a part of the team.
ReplyDeleteTransparency in PMS very important. For example if every one can see the relationship between salary increments and Sales team individuals performance, in ABCPI, it will motivate others to perform better.
ReplyDeleteManaging only the people is Personnel Management and when you add managing their performance, it becomes Human Resource Management.
ReplyDeleteMany companies set up processes to formally evaluate an employee’s performance after an initial probationary period and then on an annual or semi-annual basis. Employers and managers often feel that these are time-consuming exercises that do not yield desired results. i hope the same applies to our companies.
ReplyDeleteSuccessful performance Management is worth for Employee as well as Organization also.
